1. How is the 14 Day Cleanse different from the GetLean Challenge? The GetLean 14 Day Cleanse is one of our Nutrition Suite of products and a precursor to The GetLean Challenge (don't know what
The GetLean Challenge is? Click the link to check it out!) The GetLean Challenge is focused on losing weight, watching portion control, eating balanced meals, and moving our bodies more. The 14 Day Cleanse is focused on cleaning out our "lint trap" of our digestion and giving our bodies and digestive system a break to rest and rejuvenate. It is not a weight loss program (that's The GetLean Challenge), but it is focused on refreshing our digestive systems and building our energy and overall well-being. We highly recommend you do the GetLean 14 Day Cleanse before you participate in The GetLean Challenge to get optimal results!
2. How much cooking is involved?
All of the recipes are very simple and easy to put together (think chopping and assembling a salad or pouring ingredients into a slow cooker, then setting and forgetting!). Just make 1-2 of the recipes each week and eat leftovers. Otherwise, basic salads and soups are great!
However, if cooking is just not in your world, then even just eliminating the foods that cause the issues we're trying to correct and taking the green juice and supplements will still yield GREAT results!
3. What about protein?
Protein is an important macro-nutrient and in most circumstances it should be a part of every meal. However, during the Cleanse, we are looking to give our digestion a break and meat is a complex protein to digest. So most of the recipes are vegetarian but will have an option to add a protein (which is totally OK!) as you would like.
4. Will the cleanse impact my day-to-day? (i.e. will I have to go to the bathroom constantly?) :)
No, the cleanse is very gentle and while the intent will be to purify your system and eliminate the toxins that are causing you to feel less-than-great, it will be done in a way that will not impact your daily routines.
